Job summary

Hotel Football in Manchester seeks a proactive Front of House Manager to lead and inspire our teams. This high-energy, guest-facing role will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, set the standard for guest service, and be the go-to person for both the team and our guests.

You will oversee reception, reservations and nights, ensuring peak-period performance, upselling opportunities, and exceptional guest experiences across a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a Front of House leadership role within a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Confident managing teams and leading from the front, especially during busy periods.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities required.

Job Description

We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Front of House Manager to lead and inspire our teams. This is a high-energy, guest-facing role where no two days are the same. You’ll ensure smooth day-to-day operations, set the standard for guest service, and be the go‑to person for both your team and our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the daily operation of Reception, Reservations and Nights.
  • Be visible and present during peak periods, including weekends, holidays and matchdays.
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences, handling feedback (positive and negative) with professionalism and care.
  • Train, mentor and support your team, ensuring standards and brand values are consistently upheld.
  • Maximise revenue through effective sales strategies, occupancy management and upselling.
  • Oversee shift procedures including opening/closing checklists, daily sales reporting, and cash handling.
  • Manage rotas, labour levels and departmental scheduling.
  • Maintain strong communication across all hotel departments, fostering a culture of teamwork.
  • Ensure policies, procedures and safety standards are always followed.

  • Proven experience in a Front of House leadership role within a hotel or hospitality environment.
