Front of House Manager - Park Plaza Leeds

This is a highly visible, guest‑facing role where you will act as a brand ambassador, working collaboratively with hotel leaders to ensure our guests receive a consistently outstanding experience from arrival to departure.

What you will be responsible for:

• Take full ownership of the Front of House operations, ensuring the intended guest experience is delivered consistently
• Act as the face of the hotel, engaging with guests, handling feedback and resolving issues with confidence and care
• Lead, coach and develop your management and front office teams, creating a high‑performance and engaged culture
• Ensure staffing, resources and rotas are optimised to meet business demand
• Drive service excellence, brand standards and compliance across the department
• Manage departmental productivity, payroll and cost controls in line with targets
• Identify opportunities to enhance guest experience, revenue and operational efficiency
• Work closely with key stakeholders across the hotel including Operations, Guest Experience, Finance, HR and Commercial teams
• Ensure health & safety, data protection, asset protection and ESG standards are adhered to at all times

About you:

• Proven experience as a Front of House Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager within a branded hotel environment
• Strong operational knowledge of Front Office systems and procedures
• Confident people leadership skills with experience managing performance and engagement
• Commercial awareness with the ability to balance service excellence and operational efficiency
• Excellent communication skills and a calm, professional presence
• Strong systems knowledge, including Opera PMS and workforce or forecasting tools
