Job summary

Houston & Hawkes is recruiting a Front of House General Assistant to join our team across Windlesham and Slough locations. You’ll deliver warm, professional service, craft barista coffees and help with daily dining, meeting-room hospitality and basic food prep.

Ideal candidates have café or catering experience, a friendly demeanor and flexibility to work across retail, hospitality and kitchen support. Driving licence and own car are advantageous for travel between sites.

• Deliver warm, professional customer service throughout the day.
• Prepare and serve high-quality barista coffees, hot drinks and fresh food.
• Support breakfast, lunch and daily workplace dining services.
• Assist with meeting-room refreshments and corporate hospitality.
• Help with basic food preparation, presentation and replenishment.
• Keep service counters, dining spaces and kitchen areas clean and welcoming.
• Support general cleaning and kitchen porter duties when needed.
• Work across Windlesham and Slough locations as required.
• Follow food safety, allergen, hygiene and health and safety procedures.

Houston & Hawkes is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and versatile Front of House General Assistant to join our team, supporting two prestigious corporate workplace locations in Windlesham and Slough.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in excellent customer service and has a genuine passion for food and hospitality. From making great coffee and serving freshly prepared food to supporting meeting-room hospitality and keeping our spaces looking their best, you’ll be a valued part of a welcoming team.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Deliver warm, professional customer service throughout the day.

Prepare and serve high-quality barista coffees, hot drinks and fresh food.

Support breakfast, lunch and daily workplace dining services.

Assist with meeting-room refreshments and corporate hospitality.

Help with basic food preparation, presentation and replenishment.

Keep service counters, dining spaces and kitchen areas clean and welcoming.

Support general cleaning and kitchen porter duties when needed.

Work across our Windlesham and Slough locations as required.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
