Job summary

Houston & Hawkes in London is seeking an experienced Hospitality Assistant to join our team at a prestigious client site. This part-time position is Tuesday to Thursday, offering a £14.80 per hour rate for 32 hours per week, and involves supporting meeting rooms, fine dining lunches and corporate events with the high level of service expected in a premium professional environment.

During quieter hospitality periods, you’ll also support the coffee shop, making this a varied and engaging role.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or front-of-house experience within a high-quality environment.
• Experience within premium contract catering, corporate hospitality, fine dining or a five-star hotel would be highly desirable
• Confident table service skills and excellent attention to detail
• A warm, polished and professional approach
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• The flexibility to support both hospitality and coffee shop service
• Good organisation, reliability and a strong team mentality

Responsibilities

• Prepare meeting rooms, dining spaces and hospitality areas to an exceptional standard
• Deliver professional food and beverage service for meetings, fine dining lunches and corporate events
• Provide confident, attentive table service and look after clients and guests throughout their visit
• Clear, refresh and reset meeting rooms efficiently between bookings
• Support event set-up, service and breakdown
• Assist in the coffee shop during quieter hospitality periods
• Maintain immaculate service areas, crockery, glassware and equipment
• Work closely with the kitchen and wider front-of-house team to deliver seamless service
• Maintain excellent food safety, allergen, hygiene and health and safety standards

Houston & Hawkes is looking for an experienced Hospitality Assistant to join our team at an impressive London client site. Working Tuesday to Thursday, you'll support meeting rooms, fine dining lunches and corporate events, delivering the high level of service expected in a premium professional environment.
