Job summary

Portico in Manchester is seeking a dynamic Front of House Team Leader to manage guest and occupier experiences at a Grade A office building in Spinningfields. You will lead front-of-house operations and partner with the Building Management Team to ensure seamless day-to-day services.

The role focuses on community engagement, ESG initiatives and charitable fundraising, building strong occupier relationships and delivering outstanding customer experiences for visitors and contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience within a front-of-house, hospitality, customer service or workplace experience environment.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Experience coordinating events, occupier engagement activities or community programmes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all front-of-house operations, ensuring consistently exceptional service standards.
• Deliver a warm, professional and engaging experience for occupiers, visitors and contractors.
• Act as the primary point of contact for occupiers, building strong and lasting relationships.
• Work closely with the Building Management Team to support the smooth operation of the building.
• Develop and coordinate occupier engagement programmes, community events and networking opportunities.
• Support and drive Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives across the building community.
• Organise and promote charitable fundraising activities and wellbeing events.
• Monitor occupier feedback, identify opportunities for improvement and implement service enhancements.
