Talent Catch is recruiting on behalf of a growing client looking for a confident and personable Front of House Representative to join their team.
This is a front of house opportunity for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, helping guests and making sure everything runs smoothly from the moment someone arrives.
If you’ve worked in a restaurant, hotel, reception, bar, café or another customer-facing environment, this could be a great next step.
As a Front of House Representative, you’ll often be the first person guests or visitors meet, so professionalism, warmth and attention to detail are important. You’ll welcome people, answer questions, manage enquiries and help create a positive experience throughout their visit.
Depending on the day, you may also support bookings, coordinate with other members of the team and help make sure the front of house area remains organised, presentable and ready for customers.
Your responsibilities may include welcoming guests and visitors, managing bookings and enquiries, answering calls, directing customers to the right person or area and providing general support throughout their visit.
You’ll also help maintain a clean and professional front of house environment, communicate with different departments and handle customer questions in a calm and helpful way.
A big part of the opportunity is simply making sure people feel looked after.
We’re particularly interested in people with experience in:
Previous front of house experience is useful, but personality and attitude are equally important.
You’ll likely be a strong fit if you’re friendly, approachable and confident speaking with different people. You’ll need to be organised, reliable and professional, with the ability to stay composed in a busy environment.
This can be a strong opportunity for someone who wants to build a longer-term career in hospitality, customer experience or operations.
As your confidence and experience grow, there may be opportunities to take on more responsibility across areas such as guest services, team supervision, bookings, events or front of house management.
You’ll also have the chance to continue developing your communication, organisation and customer service skills with ongoing support from the wider team.
If you enjoy working with people, take pride in delivering great service and want to build your experience in a professional front of house environment, we’d love to hear from you.
