Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking an enthusiastic Receptionist to join the front-of-house team. You will be the first point of contact, delivering excellent customer service and assisting with bookings, memberships and payments.

The role requires a friendly, proactive approach, the ability to multitask in a busy environment, and a commitment to safeguarding and high standards of presentation. 20 hours weekly, rota basis, across Mon-Sun.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role preferred in leisure, fitness or community services.
• Comfortable handling cash and card payments using till systems.
• A proactive, flexible team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors with a warm, professional greeting at reception.
• Handle enquiries, bookings and memberships in person, online and by phone.
• Operate booking, till and membership systems accurately and securely.
• Provide information on facilities, classes and promotions; maintain a tidy reception.
