Zusammenfassung

The Ministry of Justice, Probation Service Directorate, invites applications for an administrative role based at HMPPS. The post supports reception duties and a range of office-based activities, reporting to the Line Manager and covering periods of absence when trained.

You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, logging arrivals, issuing passes, handling mail, bookings, and basic admin tasks while upholding diversity and data confidentiality.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in first point of contact and front-of-house administration.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

Aufgaben

• Be first point of contact for Probation Service visitors and staff, greet professionally, log arrivals, issue passes and security fobs.
• Manage reception logistics including mail, PPE, stationery, room bookings, events and registrations.
• Maintain building safety: monitor alarms, CCTV, evacuations, risk assessments and act as Fire Warden/First Aider when required.
• Provide confidential administrative support to probation teams, manage files, databases and documentation.
