Job summary

Tesco is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers in the United Kingdom to meet customers in their homes and provide friendly, reliable service. The role blends driving with hands-on tasks, delivering groceries with care and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

You will work independently for much of the day with support from managers back at base, and you are guaranteed a minimum of 12 hours per week (with some roles 16+ hours).

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Able to build good relationships with colleagues to deliver great service.
• Warm and welcoming with customers and colleagues.
• Respond swiftly to changing customer needs while on the road.

Responsibilities

• Keep your van, trays, and work area clean, tidy, and organized.
• Load the van safely and check it is roadworthy.
• Explain order changes or substitutions and process refunds to keep the experience smooth.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality.
• Deliver within time slots, offering friendly doorstep service.
