Job summary

Tesco is looking for a Customer Delivery Driver to represent the brand and deliver a high level of service to customers in their homes. This hands-on role combines driving with practical delivery duties and a focus on customer satisfaction.

You will work independently for much of the day with support from store colleagues. The role involves varied shifts, a physical workload, and the opportunity to join a team committed to reliable, friendly service across our local communities.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering friendly, reliable service to customers.
• Valid UK/EU driving licence held for 12+ months, with minimal penalty points.
• Ability to manage time and routes efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with handling physical goods and manual loading/unloading.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays and workspace clean and organised for quality delivery.
• Load van safely and perform pre-delivery checks for roadworthiness.
• Explain changes or substitutions to customers and process refunds when needed.
• Carefully handle products to maintain quality and customer trust.
• Deliver within scheduled time slots and provide warm, friendly service at the doorstep.
