Job summary

Tesco PLC is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers to meet customers in their homes across the UK. This role goes beyond driving, delivering great service with a smile and maintaining vehicle and order accuracy.

You will work shifts with a minimum 16 hours per week; pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in stores within the M25. Uniform provided, with a range of Tesco benefits and supports across roles.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months.
• Be warm and welcoming with customers and colleagues.
• Respond quickly to changing customer needs while on the road and in store.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays, and work area clean, tidy, and organised to ensure orders are in perfect condition.
• Load the van safely and complete checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes or substitutions to customers and process refunds to keep service smooth.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and trust.
• Deliver within the customer's time slot and provide warm, natural service at the doorstep.
