Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of apetito, is seeking a delivery driver to bring frozen meals to customers across the local area. The role is 40 hours per week over 5 in 6 days, including bank holidays, with emphasis on friendly customer service.

You will work in a -20ºC coldstore with protective clothing provided and breaks to warm up. A full UK manual driving licence and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service-based role.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence is required.
• Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps.
• Evidence of work stability.
• Basic secondary education is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner.
• Pick orders within the coldstore.
• Use our app to update deliveries.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
• Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van.
• Drive safely and within the law.
• Refuel/clean the van as needed.
• Notify office of delays or discrepancies.
• Maintain customer confidentiality.
• Support office and picking teams when required.
• Report health and safety, stock quality, and mechanical issues.
• Assist team members when others are absent.
• Support local marketing activities to attract new customers.
