Job summary

Asda Havant is seeking a Fresh Manager to lead the Fresh department, ensuring top availability and excellent shop floor standards while managing waste and date code compliance. You will drive the shrink agenda and coach the team to deliver great results, with safety and legality for customers and colleagues at the forefront.

Lead with impact, develop your team, and optimise processes to positively influence store performance and customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Team Leader or Supervisor in a retail environment.
• Operational knowledge on food or non-food departments.
• Knowledge of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink.
• Experience developing teams and managing change through leadership and building resilience.
• Strong organisational skills and great customer service.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Fresh department day-to-day operations, ensuring the best availability and high shop floor standards.
• Drive the shrink agenda through the Fresh team and ensure waste and date code compliance.
• Keep the store safe and legal for customers and colleagues.
