Job summary

Asda Havant is looking for a Fresh Manager to lead the Fresh department, ensuring best availability and high shop floor standards while controlling waste and date codes. You will ensure safety and legal compliance and deliver a standout customer experience on the shop floor.

You will drive the shrink agenda, coach the Fresh team, and push performance through planning, execution, and team collaboration across food and non-food areas. Weekend and evening shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Team Leader or Supervisor in a retail environment.
• Operational knowledge on food or non-food departments.
• Knowledge of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink.
• Experience developing teams and managing change through leadership and building resilience.
• Strong organisational skills and great customer service.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Fresh department to deliver best availability and highest shop floor standards.
• Manage waste and date code compliance while ensuring safety and legality for customers and colleagues.
• Drive the shrink agenda through your Fresh team with clear actions.
• Plan and execute trading activity on the shop floor to meet KPIs and store targets.
