Job summary

Noble Recruiting supports a long-standing client at their Southampton offices, seeking a confident Inside Sales and Quotations Clerk. You will quote customers using the 360 portal and in-house system, with training provided, ensuring fast, accurate responses to secure bookings.

We require recent shipping industry experience, excellent customer service via telephone and email, attention to detail, and IT competence.

Responsibilities

• Quote customers using the 360 portal and in-house system, with training provided.

• Follow up quotes with customers by phone to secure bookings.
• Conduct competition mapping.
• Provide feedback to management to improve future bookings.
• No outbound sales.

Noble Recruiting have the pleasure to support a wonderful, long-standing, and globally renown Client of ours at their Southampton Offices.

We are looking for a confident Inside Sales and Quotations Clerk to join our client who is expanding their team and it's very exciting times for them - this role is primarily suited to you if you are from a Shipping/Freight background and love speaking with Customers & building relationships!

Permanent Position for you

Monday to Friday's - 9:00am to 5:30pm

On site position, free parking + fantastic benefits detailed at interview stage

Salary: £27,000 to £30,000 per annum - depending on experience

Your role would involve:

• Quoting customers using their 360 portal and in house system - training provided.
• Ensuring Quotes are sent accurately and with a fast turn around.
• Following up quotes with customers via phone and asking relevant questions to secure the booking.
• Competition mapping.
• Feeding back any information that could help secure future bookings for customers to management/team leader.
• NO outbound sales!

Experience we are looking for:

• Must have recent, demonstrable experience working within a Shipping environment - Customer service or sales area within the last 6 months.
• Excellent Customer Service skills - confident to communicate via telephone and emails.
• Polite, friendly and approachable manner.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Competent I.T. computer skills.
• Driver & own transport is desirable.
