Job summary

WR Logistics, a well-established freight forwarding and logistics provider, is seeking a Sales & Development Executive in Tilbury, Essex. The role covers identifying new business in sea, air and road freight, generating leads, and building lasting client partnerships. Monday–Friday, £ up to 37,500 with commission.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in freight sales (sea/air/road) within freight forwarding.
• Proven track record in sales and business development.
• Solid understanding of the global freight industry.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across FCL/LCL sea freight, air freight and road freight (imports and exports).
• Generate leads through proactive outreach and collaboration with Sales and Operations teams.
• Prepare accurate quotations with all relevant terms and conditions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
• Undertake both in-office and field-based business development activities.
• Leverage existing contacts or transferable client relationships where possible.
