Job summary

Willis Global in Chelmsford, Essex, is seeking an Internal / External Sales Executive to grow its freight forwarding portfolio. The role combines office-based sales with customer visits to win new business and maintain key accounts.

You will handle quotations, build a sales pipeline, and negotiate terms with clients across the UK, reporting to the Managing Director. A proactive, results-driven approach and full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident making outbound sales calls.
• Comfortable attending customer meetings.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Self-motivated with proactive approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through proactive outreach and networking.
• Identify potential customers and arrange meetings across the UK.
• Prepare quotations and follow up to maximise conversions.
• Build and manage a sales pipeline and meet targets.
