Job summary

HtE Recruitment Limited in the Heathrow area is seeking a time-critical freight forwarding coordinator to ensure all import/export documents, CDS entries, and storage bookings are ready so freight lands and departs on time. Qualifications

• Experience in time-critical freight forwarding and CDS customs clearance.
• Office-based role requiring coordination of import/export activities.
• Mon-Fri, 9:00–17:30 working hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify all documents for import/export and customs clearance.
• Coordinate express pickups and drop-offs for time-critical items, including perishables.
• Schedule and book storage facilities as needed to ensure on-time transit.
• Ensure CDS entries cover both imports and exports and avoid delays.

Job description

freight forwarder required in the heathrow area, this is for a time critical department, they import and export very time critical items including fresh produce. this department ensures all the customs paperwork is ready, the onward transport has arrived on time and any storage facilities are booked.

The role

As a freight forwarding coordinator for time critical produce, you will ensure all the documents and everything is in place for when freight lands and takes off, you will ensure the express pick up and drop off goes very smoothly and they work with time critical items, which means any delays at the customs clearance, can result in goods either arriving late or going off, if it is perishable goods. This role covers CDS customs clearance and covers import and exports.

Experience

We are looking for a time critical freight forwarding coordinator with a customs clearance background and knowledge of how to deal with time critical logistics, to ensure there are no hold ups in the smooth transit.
