Transcomm Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Air Import Operator for a major UK and International Freight Forwarding organisation. The role is based at Heathrow with a 4 on 4 off day shift and 12-hour shifts.

The package is £36k–£40k per year and involves managing the end-to-end air import process, including customs clearance. Your responsibilities include handling high volumes, customer liaison, and system updates.

Qualificações

• 4+ years Air Import and customs clearance experience.
• Experience with Cargowise and Sequoia advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and customers.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the air import process for clients from start to finish, including customs clearance.
• Maintain outstanding customer service and handle a high volume of shipments with minimal issues.
• Coordinate with origin offices and liaise with customers via email and phone.
• Prepare pre-alerts, manage origin, and handle customs entries.
• Oversee transport deliveries and ensure smooth information flow between systems.
• Perform job costing and invoicing and update relevant systems.

A major UK & International Freight Forwarding organisation are experiencing major growth and are looking to add a Senior Air Import Coordinator to their team. This vacancy is for a senior air import clerk so they need to be able to work using their own initiative as they will be in the office as the only Import clerk on shift on some occasions over the weekend.

ROLE: Senior Air Import Operator

BASIC SALARY: £36k to £40k

LOCATION: Heathrow

HOURS: 4 on 4 off day shift & it's 12-hour shifts from (Apply online only) hrs ( with a 1 hour lunchbreak ).

ROLE: Managing the air Import process for clients from start to finish including customs clearance.

• Assist customer with their Supply Chain Model
• Managing Information Flow between Systems
• Manage Origin Offices

Skills required:

Must have at least 4 years Air Import and customs clearance experience - Essential

If they have Cargowise and/or Sequoia experience, this would be an advantage. Must have experience of dealing with Import customs clearances
