Bennett and Game are currently working with a leading Freight and specialist Logistics firm based in Eastleigh. They are actively looking for a dynamic and driven freight professional seeking career progression and development to join their team.

Our client offers specialist and comprehensive Supply-chain, Multi-modal Freight, and Transport services with UK and International coverage. They hold multi-million-pound worldwide contracts and provide specialist logistics services across various public and private sector industries.

The company offers services in all modes of transport, welcoming candidates from Air, Road, or Ocean backgrounds, with excellent training provided within the role.

Freight Coordinator Position Overview

1. Join the operations team, working alongside Air, Ocean, and Road freight professionals.
2. Manage relationships with internal and external customers and logistics companies in both UK and International markets, emphasizing key account management and customer service skills.
3. Assist in freight operations including planning, invoicing, scheduling, quoting, customs, imports, exports, and managing freight movements from start to finish.

Freight Coordinator Position Requirements

1. Proven experience in Air, Ocean, or Road Freight operations.
2. Knowledge of Import & Export operations (desirable).
3. Knowledge of Customs operations (desirable).
4. Experience handling Dangerous / Hazardous goods (highly desirable).

Freight Coordinator Position Remuneration

1. Salary DOE - £28,000 - £35,000 (open to both junior and senior industry professionals).
2. Highly competitive Private Pension Scheme.
3. Death in Service Insurance.
4. Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
