O'Neill & Brennan are recruiting a Freelance Site Manager for a prestigious residential development in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. You will report to the Senior Site Manager and oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring safe, efficient delivery to high standards.

The role requires volume-housebuilding experience, strong leadership and subcontractor management, with a focus on health, safety and quality. 3-4 month contract on site with strong client and team collaboration.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of construction activities, ensuring homes are delivered safely, efficiently and to the high standards expected by a leading national housebuilder.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and coordinating subcontractors and trades on site
• Maintaining the construction programme and ensuring key deadlines are achieved
• Ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance
• Carrying out quality inspections and managing snagging requirements
• Coordinating labour, materials and plant requirements
• Working closely with the Contracts Manager and wider construction team
• Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress
• Ensuring homes are delivered to the required quality and customer standards

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally have:
