Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Freelance Fitout Site Manager for banking fit-out projects in Leeds and Sheffield. You will oversee on-site activities, manage contractors, and ensure work aligns with client specifications, on a day or night shift basis.

Ideal candidates bring banking fit-out experience, a strong health and safety mindset, and a willingness to travel across sites. This freelance role offers weekly pay and accommodation/fuel support where applicable.

Qualifications

• Banking/retail fitout experience required.
• CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certifications.
• Minimum of 5 years as a Site Manager.
• UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Willingness to travel; weekend work may be involved.

Responsibilities

• Manage bank fit out projects.
• Ensure projects are on-time and to client specification.
• Report directly to the Project Manager and liaise with head office.
• Manage contractors and subcontractors on-site daily.
• Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
• Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives.
• Flexible with which projects you take.

Fawkes & Reece are hiring for multiple Freelance Fitout Site Managers for a number of upcoming banking fit out projects based in Leeds and Sheffield. Previous banking experience is essential. We have projects on both day and night shifts.

Job responsibilities of the Freelance Fitout Site Manager:

• Manage bank fit out projects.
• Ensure projects are on-time and to client specification.
• Report directly to the Project Manager and liaise with head office.
• Manage contractors and subcontractors on-site daily.
• Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety standards.

• Flexible with which projects you take.

Required Qualifications/Experience for the Freelance Site Manager:

• Experience working within banking/ retail fitout/ refurb.
• CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a Site Managers position
• UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
• Must be willing to travel
• Some weekend work may be involved
