Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on major construction projects.
• Experience on commercial, high-rise or complex developments.
• Excellent knowledge of drawings, coordinates, levels and tolerances.
• Attention to detail and getting things right first time.
• Independent work with ownership of setting out.
• Good communication with site teams and subcontractors.
• Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Experience with modern surveying equipment and surveying software.

Responsibilities

• Setting out structural, architectural and general construction elements.
• Maintaining control points and benchmarks.
• Carrying out checks and surveys.
• Ensuring setting out aligns with drawings and specs.
• Liaising with Site Managers, Engineers and subcontractors.
• Checking dimensions, levels, coordinates and tolerances.
• Identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintaining survey records.
• Supporting quality control and accuracy.
