Job summary

American Society of Civil Engineers is seeking a freelance Setting Out Engineer for a large industrial unit in Essex. Immediate start on a 3-month contract. You will perform setting out across the site, ensure levels and gridlines, manage as-built records, and coordinate with the main contractor's site team.

Candidates must hold a valid CSCS card, be confident with a total station and GPS, and be available at short notice. Rate is £330 per day.

Responsibilities

• Setting out across a large industrial unit, working alongside the main contractor's site team.
• Responsibility for levels, gridlines, as built records and general dimensional control.
• All setting out equipment and tools provided by the main contractor
