Job summary

American Society of Civil Engineers is seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer for a major residential development in South London. You will join the team from the groundworks phase and work with a Senior Engineer across your allocated block.

The role covers setting out for piling, foundations and structural works, establishing control points, grids and levels, and reading drawings. You will liaise with Site Managers and subcontractors, perform quality checks, and maintain engineering

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer on residential or major construction projects.
• Strong groundworks / RC experience.
• Confident using Total Station / Leica.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• CSCS qualified.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Setting Out Engineer - South London - Residential Development

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join the team on a major residential development in South London.

The project is at an early stage, with piling due to commence shortly, providing an excellent opportunity to join from the groundworks phase and remain involved throughout the construction programme.

The development will comprise multiple residential blocks, including a high-rise tower, delivering a significant number of new homes alongside landscaped communal areas, public realm and associated infrastructure.

You will work alongside an experienced Senior Engineer and wider site team, taking responsibility for setting out and engineering duties across your allocated block.
