Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group in Worthing is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a busy residential development on a freelance contract.

You will support the Site Manager and Project Manager, coordinate trades, and drive site operations from 1st fix to handover, ensuring quality and safety.

The role offers a long-term freelance engagement with a day rate of £250–£260, based in Worthing and with a strong pipeline of work.

Qualifications

• Experienced Assistant Site Manager with a developer background.
• Knowledge of the build process from 1st fix to handover.
• Able to manage multiple trades on a fast-paced site.
• Valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plots from 1st fix to completion.
• Support Site Manager with daily operations.
• Coordinate trades and subcontractors on schedule.
• Ensure health and safety compliance on site.
• Maintain quality control and handle snagging.
