Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Freelance Principal Civil/Structural Engineer to deliver civil and structural design work for a range of water, power and industrial projects. The role supports a blended hybrid/remote working model with initial Bridgend office induction and eventual predominately remote work.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on design experience, the ability to manage workload independently, and Chartered status would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Strong experience delivering civil and/ or structural designs.
• Proven ability to produce engineering calculations and detailed deliverables.
• Ability to take outlines to developed designs and deliverables.
• Good knowledge of Eurocodes and UK industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil and/or structural design work for diverse projects.
• Produce calculations, drawings, reports and technical deliverables.
• Develop concepts into detailed engineering solutions and deliverables.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and supply chain.
