Job summary

Heim is recruiting freelance phlebotomists to service Hull and surrounding areas, joining an established team to provide high-quality home-based phlebotomy services. Travel is required, and a car is essential to reach patients in their homes.

You will work at least 8 hours per week, with flexible hours to meet patient demand. The role includes DBS checks, indemnity insurance, references, and a full driving license. Weekly pay and ongoing supervision are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months phlebotomy experience.
• DBS Disclosure of convictions (enhanced, child and adult).
• Personal professional indemnity insurance (evidence required).
• References: 2 referees, at least one from your recent employment.
• Full driving license and access to own vehicle.
• Fluent English (required).

Responsibilities

• Carry out blood tests requested and domiciliary visits as a lone practitioner with app support.
• Seek advice from Heim Clinical team for matters outside your scope.
• Ensure domiciliary blood samples are posted or delivered to the hub on time.
• Document blood test results in the patient’s medical record.
• Report risks identified to the Heim Clinical team and adhere to protocols.
