Job summary

Heim is recruiting freelance phlebotomists in Milton Keynes to join a team delivering high-quality home-based blood tests. You will work with our Clinical Operations Team to report on activities and ensure timely logins, with the flexibility to fit around your schedule.

Applicants should have at least 12 months of phlebotomy experience, a valid DBS, and personal professional indemnity insurance. Full driving license and fluent English are required; weekly pay and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months phlebotomy experience.
• DBS Disclosure (enhanced, child and adult) required.
• Insurance: Personal professional indemnity insurance (evidence required).
• References: 2 referees, at least one from recent employment.
• Driving Licence: Full driving license and access to own vehicle.
• Language: Fluent English (required).

Responsibilities

• Carry out blood tests during domiciliary visits, as a lone practitioner with support.
• Seek advice from Heim Clinical team for non-core tasks.
• Ensure domiciliary blood samples are posted or brought to the hub on time.
• Document blood tests in the patient’s medical record.
• Report risks to the Heim Clinical team and seek guidance as needed.
• Comply with company protocols and guidelines.
