Job summary

Heim is recruiting for freelance phlebotomists in East Midlands. You will join a group of existing phlebotomists, providing high-quality care to clients and reporting to the Clinical Operations Team.

This role requires 12+ months of phlebotomy experience, a valid DBS, personal indemnity insurance, and a full driving license with access to your own vehicle. Flexible hours and community-based work are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months phlebotomy experience.
• DBS disclosure (enhanced, child and adult).
• Personal professional indemnity insurance (evidence required).
• Two referees, at least one from recent employment.
• Full driving license and access to own vehicle.
• Fluent English is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out domiciliary blood tests and book visits, as a lone practitioner with app support.
• Seek guidance from a senior Heim Clinical team when needed.
• Ensure samples are posted or delivered to the hub for courier collection.
• Document results in the patient’s medical record.
• Report risks and follow Heim protocols and guidelines.
