Job summary

Heim is seeking freelance phlebotomists to join a team serving Hampshire with domiciliary blood draws. You will work as part of a flexible community healthcare model, delivering high-quality care at patients' homes and coordinating via Heim's digital tools.

Applicants should have at least 12 months of phlebotomy experience, DBS clearance, indemnity insurance, two referees, a full driving licence, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months phlebotomy experience.
• DBS disclosure (enhanced, child and adult) required.
• Personal professional indemnity insurance (evidence required).
• Two referees, at least one from your recent employment.
• Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Fluent English (required).

Responsibilities

• Carry out blood tests and domiciliary visits as a lone practitioner with telephone and mobile app support.
• Seek advice and support from Heim Clinical team for matters outside the sphere of responsibility, knowledge, or skills.
• Ensure domiciliary blood samples are posted or brought to the hub in time for courier collection.
• Document into the patient's medical record the blood tests taken.
• Report to the Heim Clinical team and seek advice on specific risks identified.
• Carry out duties in accordance with company protocols and guidelines.
