Heim is recruiting freelance phlebotomists for Bristol community visits. Join a team of phlebotomists and support the Clinical Operations Team to report on activities. You must be able to commit to at least 8 hours between Monday and Friday, 7am-12pm, with flexibility for additional shifts.

Applicants should have 12+ months of phlebotomy experience, DBS clearance, indemnity insurance, and a full driving license with access to a vehicle. Fluent English is required and weekly pay will be provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months phlebotomy experience.
• DBS Disclosure (enhanced, child and adult).
• Insurance: Personal professional indemnity insurance (evidence required).
• References: 2 referees, at least one from your recent employment.
• Driving License: Full driving license and access to own vehicle.
• Language: Fluent English (required).

Responsabilités

• Carry out blood tests requested and domiciliary visits, as a lone practitioner with support.
• Seek advice from Heim Clinical team for matters outside your knowledge.
• Ensure domiciliary blood samples are posted or brought to the hub in time for courier collection.
• Document blood tests in the patient’s medical record.
• Report to Heim Clinical team and seek advice on risks identified.
• Follow company protocols and guidelines.
