Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is seeking Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Instructors/Assessors to deliver blended classroom and on-road sessions across Great Britain. You will train drivers in category B vans, combining theory with practical assessments at client sites, and you will produce timely evaluation reports.

Qualifications

Job description

The Freelance Driver Trainer (copy) position, based in Dundee, carries a daily rate of £150 on a contract basis.

You will deliver half and full-day coaching sessions, primarily in category B vans, at client sites, combining classroom theory with practical on-road assessments.

You must hold relevant training qualifications and a solid understanding of fleet safety standards.

This contract offers autonomy over your workload while representing a leading provider within the sector.

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include completing accurate evaluation reports promptly after each session.
• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

Required Qualifications and Attributes

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
