Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is seeking Freelance Driver Trainers to join their team in Plymouth and across Great Britain. This contract role pays £150 per day, with half-day (4 hours) and full-day sessions at client sites.

You will deliver classroom theory and on-road coaching for category B vehicles, complete assessment reports promptly, and manage your own diary with flexibility. Prior instructional qualifications and EV training experience are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

Freelance Driver Trainer (copy) required in Plymouth for a contract position paying £150 per day, representing an excellent rate for experienced professionals.

Working with PDT Fleet Training Solutions, you will deliver a combination of classroom theory and practical on-road coaching for category B vehicles, primarily vans, at client sites across Great Britain.

Your schedule will involve both half-day (four-hour) and full-day sessions, requiring precise, timely completion of assessment reports.

This role suits independent trainers with strong communication skills and a flexible approach to travel.

Successful applicants will join a respected provider of fleet driver training, working with prestigious clients nationwide.

Prior instructional qualifications and experience are essential.

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain.

This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.
