The Freelance Driver Trainer position, based in Pitlochry, involves delivering half and full-day coaching sessions for category B vehicles, primarily vans, on client premises. This contract role, paying £150 per day, requires the timely completion of accurate assessment reports. You will provide a blend of classroom instruction and on‑road assessments for induction or upgrade courses. Working for PDT Fleet Training Solutions, the role suits an experienced professional capable of working independently across various locations. The position demands strong communication skills and a meticulous approach to documentation. This is a contract engagement, offering a daily rate of £150. PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on‑road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward‑thinking providers of fleet driver training.

Duties

• Delivering both half and full‑day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half‑day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

Skills & Experience

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
