Job summary

Masstemps Ltd are recruiting for an Assembler in the Wolverhampton area to join a busy manufacturer specialising in steel framing. The role involves assembling steel frame components to a high standard in a busy production environment.

You will read and interpret technical drawings, use hand and power tools, operate drills, and work as part of a team to meet production targets. Full training and site induction provided.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Experience using drills and hand tools.
• Confidence using measuring tapes accurately.

Masstemps Ltd are currently recruiting for an Assembler on behalf of one of our busy clients in the Wolverhampton area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer specialising in steel framing. The successful candidate will be working within a busy production environment assembling steel frame components to a high standard.

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:30pm
• Friday: 7:00am – 3:00pm

Pay:

• £13.21 per hour
• Rising to £14.00 per hour after 12 weeks

Duties:

• Assembling steel framing products.
• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Operating drills and other assembly equipment.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Accurately reading and using tape measures.
• General labouring
• Working as part of a team to meet production targets.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Experience using drills and hand tools.
• Confidence using measuring tapes accurately.
