Job summary

Defence is seeking an FPGA Design Engineer in the United Kingdom to design complex FPGA architectures using VHDL, Simulink, and related tools. You will target Xilinx, Intel, and Microsemi devices, verify designs with VHDL and SystemVerilog/UVM, and work with Mentor tools such as QuestaSim and ModelSim.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Experience designing complex FPGA architectures using VHDL, Simulink and related tools.
• Experience targeting Xilinx, Intel and Microsemi devices.
• Experience verifying FPGA designs with VHDL and SystemVerilog/UVM.
• Experience with FPGA toolsets and Mentor tools such as QuestaSim and ModelSim.
• Experience generating low-level C software for test and integration.
• Ability to document and configure designs to a high standard.
