Job summary

British Council is undergoing a Finance Transformation programme to implement a new FP&A organisation design and an advanced planning tool. The role focuses on readiness for change, implementation activities, issue resolution and stabilisation post-go-live across finance and related functions.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, change management, and project leadership to deliver benefits and embed new ways of working across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience leading complex transformation initiatives within Finance.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead go-live readiness and post-go-live stabilisation across people, process, governance, technology and operations.
• Coordinate knowledge transfer, onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Manage queries, risks, dependencies and feedback; support leadership briefings and governance forums.
• Contribute to change impact analysis, business case and benefits modelling to support delivery.
