Job summary

InvestEngine is seeking an FP&A Manager to join our Finance team in the United Kingdom. You will own budget, forecasts and management reporting, building robust driver-based models that link growth drivers to P&L, cash and capital.

You’ll deliver monthly management accounts, dashboards and concise insights for leadership and the Board. You’ll report to Marc de Gentile-Williams and collaborate with budget holders across Product, Marketing, Operations, Technology and Risk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in FP&A, management accounting or commercial finance.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; you build clear, driver-based models from scratch.
• Experience running budget and reforecast cycles and explaining variances by business drivers.
• Ability to turn analysis into concise recommendations for non-finance leaders and the Board.
• Strong accuracy, controls mindset with reconciliations and documented assumptions.
• Confident partnering with budget holders across the business.
• English fluency at C1 level or above.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the monthly management accounts and MI pack with variance commentary.
• Build and own a driver-based three-statement model (P&L, balance sheet, cash).
• Run rolling quarterly reforecast and improve forecast accuracy over time.
• Lead the annual budget and business plan process with budget holders.
• Produce a 13-week cash forecast and monthly runway view; input to ICARA and going-concern.
• Prepare Board/committee finance packs and KPI dashboard (AUA, revenue, CAC, unit economics).
• Reduce manual reporting through templates, Xero integration and automation.
