Job summary

Chetwood Bank is seeking a Financial Analysis Manager in Manchester to drive the financial strategy, lead AOP/ROP planning and forecasting, and oversee KPI analysis and reporting. You will build robust financial models, partner with Credit Risk and Commercial teams, and present insights to senior leadership for strategic growth.

The role requires strong FP&A background in banking, advanced Excel skills, and experience with ERP/FP&A tools such as Anaplan, SAP or Oracle. Hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in accounting, economics or related field.
• Professional qualification (CFA/CIMA/ACA) or studying towards.
• Proven FP&A experience in banking/financial services.
• Advanced Excel with complex modelling and data analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP/FP&A tools such as Anaplan, SAP or Oracle.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead AOP and ROP planning and rolling forecasts.
• Perform variance, profitability, and trend analyses to guide decisions.
• Develop and maintain financial models for long-term planning and scenario analysis.
• Collaborate with Credit Risk and Commercial teams for data and assumptions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and board.
• Monitor KPIs and provide improvement recommendations.
• Lead ROI assessments for new initiatives and projects.
• Oversee FP&A tools and systems for accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure regulatory and internal policy compliance.
• Develop expertise in Anaplan for model design and data integration.
