Job summary

Chetwood Bank in Manchester is seeking a Financial Analysis Manager to shape financial strategy and oversee AOP/ROP, forecasts, and capital planning. You will develop models, lead reporting to senior leadership, and drive data-driven recommendations to support growth.

The role requires banking FP&A experience, advanced Excel, and familiarity with Anaplan and ERP tools. Hybrid working is offered along with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within banking/financial services.
• Degree in Accounting or Economics.
• Willingness to study towards CFA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent.
• Advanced Excel skills and data visualization capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and management of AOP and ROP with accurate forecasting.
• Conduct variance, profitability, and trend analyses for decision-making.
• Develop financial models for long-term planning and scenario analysis.
• Collaborate with Credit Risk and Commercial teams to gather data and validate assumptions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to senior management and board.
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics, recommending improvements.
• Evaluate financial viability of new initiatives and ROI analyses.
• Improve financial planning tools and systems for accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Develop expertise in Anaplan including data integration and scenario modeling.
