Job summary

Chetwood Bank in Manchester is seeking a Financial Analysis Manager to shape the bank's financial strategy and lead planning processes. You will own AOP/ROP, develop robust financial models, and deliver clear insights to senior leaders.

Partnering with Credit Risk and Commercial teams, you will drive accurate forecasts, manage monthly/quarterly reporting, and monitor KPIs to identify opportunities for efficiency and growth within a dynamic banking environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Pursuing CFA, CIMA, ACA or similar professional qualification.
• Proven FP&A experience in banking/financial services.
• Advanced Excel with complex modelling and data analysis.
• Familiar with ERP planning tools (Anaplan, SAP, Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Lead AOP and ROP forecasting processes.
• Perform variance, profitability, and trend analyses.
• Develop financial models for long‑term planning.
• Collaborate with Credit Risk and Commercial teams.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual reports for execs and board.
• Monitor KPIs and provide improvement recommendations.
• Evaluate new business initiatives for ROI and cost-benefit.
