Position Overview

Specialist in recruiting qualified & non-qualified finance personnel

Location: London, hybrid working offered

Our client, a PE-backed global shipping group with operations across 60 countries, is currently seeking a technically adept FP&A Manager to join their Group finance team in London on a 12-month FTC.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate the annual global budget process and forecast rounds, with the key period from September to November for delivering the global budget.
• Forecast cash flow based on rolling forecasts and assist with covenant forecasting.
• Prepare executive and board management reporting packs.
• Report Flash EBITDA and collaborate with regional and group accounting teams to ensure smooth monthly EBITDA closes.
• Deliver budgets for several executive cost centres, setting budgets/forecasts and ensuring performance is clearly reported and understood.
• Propose, develop, and implement new performance KPIs.
• Develop budget/forecast tools and models, integrating into Hyperion.
• Provide financial modeling evaluation and due diligence for M&A or investment opportunities.

Requirements

• Degree qualified or higher.
• Intermediate to advanced understanding of accounting principles and investment fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of IFRS and ability to produce statutory accounts.
• Ability to articulate financial results to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Confident user of PowerPoint.
• Experience with Hyperion or similar reporting systems is desirable.
