Job description

I am working on an exciting opportunity to join a recruitment company that specializes in the construction industry. Having experienced rapid growth in recent years, they are seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join their finance team and lead the FP&A function during a period of further expansion.

Role Responsibilities

1. Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, including the organization’s 5-year plans.
2. Manage monthly forecasts and weekly flash reports, including variance analysis to guide the business in adhering to budgets.
3. Assist in the final stages of the organization’s transformation process.
4. Build and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making.
5. Streamline existing processes and drive improvements in financial systems, tools, and reporting.
6. Present regularly to the SLT and Board, requiring a clear understanding of relevant data and the ability to extract it from various teams.
7. Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
8. Ensure compliance with relevant external and internal regulatory reporting requirements and financial policies.
9. Utilize automation and technology to enhance financial reporting and analysis.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). The successful candidate will be focused on continuous improvement, detail-oriented, and possess extensive FP&A experience, including implementing FP&A tools and financial modeling. Strong communication skills are essential to interact effectively with both finance and non-financial professionals. Prior experience leading finance transformation projects involving process changes and strategic decision-making is also required.
