Job summary

Co-op Group in Manchester is seeking a Lead Finance Planning & Reporting Analyst to consolidate reporting outputs and partner with finance teams, shaping forecasts, budgets and strategic plans.

You will deliver performance reporting, build financial plans, and improve forecasting processes, while collaborating with business partners to identify risks and opportunities for the organisation.

Qualifications

• Recognised accounting qualification and FP&A experience.
• Strong budget, forecast and financial reporting (P&Ls, balance sheets, cash flow) skills.
• Advanced IT/spreadsheet skills and planning tools experience.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with ability to present data to stakeholders.
• Strong prioritisation in a dynamic environment with improvement focus.

Responsibilities

• Build financial plans using proven techniques and methods.
• Update financial models, forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans with data and assumptions.
• Consolidate reporting inputs and present overall performance clearly.
• Support weekly and monthly performance reporting.
• Analyze period results, variances and their impact on financial statements.
• Provide reconciliation and variance analysis across business areas.
