Job summary

AQA is seeking an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Manager for a 16-month fixed-term contract in Manchester. You will lead a growing FP&A function, oversee budgeting, forecasting and group consolidation, and partner with senior stakeholders to drive informed investment decisions.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you’ll champion effective planning processes, develop a high-performing team and advance the use of Workday and Adaptive Planning.

Qualifications

• FP&A experience in a group finance environment.
• Experience of leading, coaching and developing people.
• Ability to translate complex financial information into clear analysis for senior and non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience with Workday or Adaptive Planning is useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium-term financial planning, budgeting and forecasting across a group with turnover exceeding £300m.
• Produce monthly management accounts packs with insightful financial messaging.
• Deliver group-level consolidation and intercompany eliminations.
• Provide clear financial analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
