Job description

We are seeking an FP&A Business Analyst to join our commercial finance team.

Are you a detail-oriented analyst passionate about finance and insightful reporting? Bauer offers an exciting opportunity for you!

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will be part of the central audio reporting team, assisting with monthly forecasting and cost analysis. You will collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer and other key stakeholders to analyze and understand monthly revenues and costs.

This role requires flexibility to work from home, in the office, and in the field.

What you'll be doing:

• Proactively managing cost reporting across areas including premises, broadcast & digital distribution, technology & engineering.
• Preparing monthly forecasts and annual budgets for these areas.
• Managing review processes for accruals & prepayments at month-end.
• Contributing to month-end reporting for UK stakeholders and creating management packs that provide clear insights into departmental costs.
• Partnering with the COO, Broadcast & Technology Director, Head of Distribution, and Head of Property & Facilities to support decision-making.
• Providing independent, timely appraisals for business projects.
• Supporting operational decisions through financial modeling and scenario analysis, offering strategic advice.
• Managing reporting processes for external bodies such as Ofcom and music royalty organizations.

What you'll bring:

• Ability to produce accurate, insightful analysis under time pressure.
• Qualified or near/part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA).
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with other analysis tools.
• Ability to manage a busy workload efficiently.
• Excellent team collaboration skills and supportive attitude.
• Confident interpersonal and communication skills.
• Systems experience with SAP & SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus but not essential.
• Experience in a similar financial analyst role is preferred.
