Job summary

Reed is seeking a Financial Analyst in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, to join our Finance team and drive the global finance transformation through NSPB implementation and ongoing development of planning, budgeting and reporting capabilities. The role supports decision-making across the organization.

You will analyse results and KPIs, prepare management packs and forecasts, and build robust financial models to enable strategic planning and performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or related discipline.
• Experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or corporate finance.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and modelling.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, modelling, reconciliations, data analysis).
• Experience with NetSuite, NSPB or similar ERP/FP&A tool is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyse financial results, trends, variances and KPIs for monthly reporting and decision-making.
• Prepare financial reports, management packs, forecasts and analytical presentations for senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, forecasts and scenario analyses.
• Evaluate capital expenditures, profitability, and other financial drivers for insights.
• Lead NSPB implementation, configuration and ongoing administration as part of ERP transformation.
• Support ERP migration activities including data mapping, UAT and training.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, IT and external teams to optimise budgeting and planning.
• Identify opportunities to automate and enhance reporting and ERP functionality.
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve data governance and reporting capabilities.
