Job summary

Reed Accountancy Oxford is partnering with a well established client seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join a growing finance function in the UK. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, reporting and driving automation across the FP&A landscape.

You will partner with key stakeholders, review financial results and own the variance analysis, month-end activities and improvement projects while delivering enhanced controls and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a finance qualification, or equivalent experience.
• FP&A, management accounts or financial analysis experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel and finance systems knowledge.
• Experience with Power BI and Power Query.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly accurate, proactive and committed to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Prepare, reconcile and review annual accounts, investigating variances where required.
• Partner with stakeholders to review financial results and support account sign-off.
• Analyse financial performance and provide insight into budget variances.
• Process society and editor payments in line with contractual agreements.
• Support month-end activities and trading account reviews.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls.
• Lead automation and reporting initiatives using Power BI, Power Query and Office Scripts.
