Job summary

Northland Controls in Letchworth, United Kingdom, seeks a motivated Financial Analyst to support our global finance transformation by implementing and developing NetSuite Planning and Budgeting (NSPB). You will partner with Finance, Operations, IT and leadership to build planning, forecasting and reporting capabilities for our worldwide organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• Experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or corporate finance.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, modeling, reconciliations, and data analysis.
• Experience with NetSuite, Oracle NSPB, or another ERP/FP&A system is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for finance and non-finance audiences.
• Proven ability to collaborate with Finance, Operations, IT, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial results, trends, variances, and KPIs to support monthly reporting and decision-making.
• Prepare financial reports, management packs, forecasts, and presentations for senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, forecasts, and scenario analyses.
• Evaluate capital expenditures, depreciation, profitability, and other financial drivers for insights.
• Research economic trends and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and performance trends to improve outcomes.
• Lead NSPB implementation, configuration, and ongoing NSPB admin as part of ERP transformation.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, IT, and external teams to optimize budgeting and reporting processes.
• Support ERP migration activities including data mapping, UAT, and training.
• Manage global Cross-Charge processes with quarterly recalculations and reporting.
• Support global financial reporting with Tax, Compliance, Audit teams.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve data governance.
• Work with cross-functional teams to strengthen reporting capabilities.
